Henry J. Graham is a civil trial lawyer, handling nursing home, personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Graham graduated from Boston College in 1982 with a B.A. in political science. He was commissioned as an Air Force officer shortly thereafter, serving as an intelligence officer, an aircrew member, a special operations staff officer, and as a judge advocate in the active Air Force and Air Force Reserve. Mr. Graham graduated with honors from the Florida State University College of Law in 1996, where he was a member and officer of the Moot Court team and was selected to the Order of Barristers. He served as a summer law clerk to the judges of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit, Bay County, Florida. Mr. Graham was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1996. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida, including the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. Graham is also admitted to practice in the United States District for the Northern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. Mr. Graham began his legal career as a Florida Supreme Court law clerk from 1996 until 1999. He clerked for Justices Harry Lee Anstead, Gerald Kogan, and R. Fred Lewis. Mr. Graham entered private practice in 1999 with the Tallahassee law firm of Cooper, Coppins & Monroe, P.A., where he specialized in local government, police liability and civil rights defense. He conducted extensive motion practice in both state and federal courts, and wrote numerous appellate briefs for cases in the Eleventh Circuit and the First District Court of Appeal. Mr. Graham joined Cox & Burns in 2000, fulfilling a desire to represent injured persons as a plaintiff’s attorney. Mr. Graham is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tallahassee Bar Association, and The Florida Bar. He is also a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Graham is married and has two children. Mr. Graham has played sports his entire life. He has competed in triathlons, road races, cycling time trials, and swimming competitions, as well as directing the Top Gun Triathlon in Tampa, Florida from 1990 until 1993. Mr. Graham has also coached his son’s T-ball team. He has raised money for numerous religious and charitable causes, including the United Way. Mr. Graham is also a member of the Economic Club of Florida. |
